Good Monday morning to all of you! I hope you all were safe last night, in our neck of the woods, it was very windy and raining hard too, but no hail, so we were lucky on the part.
Here is a card that I made over the week-end for my daughter to give to her friend. Her friend's daughter is turning one in June. I asked her what the invitations looked like and she text me a picture of this adorable little girl in a purple t-shirt and a pink tutu! I knew immediately what kind of card I wanted to make for her! I've seen similar cards like this on Pinterest. I didn't have any pink tulle, so I used the 5/8" Flower Trim that is in the Spring Catalog, 2013. If you that trim, you'd better get it because it will not be in the new Catalog in June! I took a Pink Pirouette marker to color the trim with and attached it to the dress part with Red Tape. I used a scrap of 1/8" Taffeta ribbon for the belt and a rhinestone for some bling! Now on the invitation, the number one was in pink glitter, so I used my Oval Framelits and used some glimmer paper for behind the dress. I used Very Vanilla and Wisteria Wonder card stock too. Oh I also used Red tape to adhere the dress form to the glimmer paper and behind that used some dimensionals for some depth.
Well, I'm doing this post on Sunday night, between storms, so I need to sign off for now, have a great day! Mary

All Dressed Up Revisited
Surprise everyone, I had time to make a card the other day before hubby's surgery and also to help me de-stress too. He is doing much better now that they have him on a different pain medicine, he had a rough night last night, so hopeful he will sleep better and relax better too!
I found a request over on Splitcoaststampers from a man that ask if card markers would be willing to send his wife cards for her birthday, just because, so I offered to send her one. Of course I just had to make her a dress card! I hope she likes it!

All Dress Up #3
Well, happy Friday to all of you! We survived yet another major snowstorm here in the mid-west. Boy, I hope we are done for this winter season too!
This is a card that I made as a RAK (random acts of kindness) for a lady who recently found out that she has terminal cancer and she had just celebrated her 60th birthday. Her friends know that it will be her last birthday, so they put out a request for birthday cards, even belated ones, as they want to make it the best ever for her. I hope her mailbox is flooded with cards for her too!

All Dressed Up #1
Well here we are again with a new week starting and another Dress that I created! I told you I had alot of fun playing with this set. Now before I go rambling on, there has been some confusion about this framelit set and the way it is shown in the Spring catalog. You are able to purchase just the framelit set by itself without having to purchase the Card Base Pop 'n Cuts or the Dress Form Pop 'n Cuts die. The framelit will work without those two items. There is also a stamp set that will work with the framelits if you choose to have that to. If you want the framelit set and the stamp set, it is sold as a bundle and you can save 15% (wood-131096, clear-131095). If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you!
I made this card for one of my aunt's who will be having a birthday soon, I think she will enjoy this. She told me that she keeps all the cards I send to her on a shelf above her desk at her house, sweet!
Products used:
Card stock: Very Vanilla 101650, Baja Breeze 111352, Basic Black 121045, Blushing Bride (retired)
Designer Series Paper: Twitterpated 125406
Rhinestone Basic Jewels 119246
Baker's Twine: Baja Breeze (retired)
Embossing Folder Holiday
Framelits Die: Dress Up 130101, Ovals Collection 129381
Snail Adhesive 104332
Stampin' Dimensionals 104430
Ok off to create some more, I tell you this weather here in Missouri is crazy, Thursday we had around 12 inches of snow and yesterday it was 54 degrees outside! Now this afternoon we are to have another 10 to 12 inches, I hope to see you soon! Mary

Dress Up Framelits Dies
Good Monday morning to all of you, I hope you didn't all blow away (at least here in KCMO). It was so windy all day yesterday. I hope those of you that had snow are all safe and warm too!
Today I'm sharing a card that I had so much fun making! Now I'm a child of the 50's and growing up in the 60's I had paper dolls to play with along with Barbie and Ken too. This frame lit set was so much fun to play with and to think I serious consider not getting it! Boy, I'm so glad that I did, the possibilities with this set are really endless. Now I did get the stamp set that coordinates with this framelit set, but I haven't gotten around to using that yet. I wish you could see this in person, it's just too darn cute. It appeals to the little girl inside of all us big girls :). You will be seeing more of this set in the future too.
Products used:
Card stock: Very Vanilla 101650, Midnight Muse 126843 Basic Gray 121044
Designer Series Paper: Print Poetry 129312 (current Spring Catalog)
Oval Framelits 129381
Ribbon: 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Midnight Muse 126847
Pearl Basic Jewels 119247
Stampin Dimensionals 104430
SNAIL Adhesive 104332
5/8" Flower Trim, Vanilla, 126869 (current Spring Catalog)
The embossing folder was available in the last Holiday Catalog, hopefully it will make it the the new catalog in June 2013
Well, stay warm, hmm, a good excuse to play in the craft room! Mary
