Father Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve day!

I stamped this image and colored it in about two weeks ago and just couldn't decide on how to use it, so this card really did take only five minutes to make.  I was just playing around with a retired embossing folder and decided to make this card.  On this Santa, I did a lot less coloring than the first one I shared last week with you.

Here is what I used:

Stamp set: Father Christmas
Card stock: Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler
Inks: Soft Suede and Craft Whisper White
Markers: Real Red and Basic Black
embossing folder- retired

I wish you the merriest of Christmas!  Mary

Father Christmas

Well good day.  I had these cards already last week and didn't get around to editing or taking pictures of them because I had a sick dog that needed my attention.  Thank goodness, he is much better and back to his old self.

This week will be filled with the last of my Christmas cards, enjoy!

Here is what I used:

Stamp set: Father Christmas
Card stock: Real Red and Crumb Cake
Inks: Soft Suede
Various Stampin' Write Markers
White Chalk Marker-retired

Thanks for coming by to see me....Mary

Father Christmas

Well when I was thinking about this card, it turned out so much prettier in my mind, sigh.  After I got done embossing it with the gold embossing powder, I realized it was really too detailed for this type of technique, but I went ahead and used the card anyway.  Next time I will try the new Watercolor Pencils on this stamp image, as the stamp set is being carried forward!

Here is the recipe:
Stamp set: Father Christmas
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler
Gold Foil Sheet
Gold Embossing Powder

Pretty simple, if you could see it better, sigh.  If you click on the picture, it will enlarge the photo for you.

Happy Christmas Eve!!  Mary
