Hello Doily Happy Birthday Card
Hi everyone!! Long time no see. Sorry to be missing for so long, will try better to stay more on top of things! Boy it has been such a long time since I sat down and made a card, it sure felt good to make this one!
This card is very simple, quick and easy to make. I started with Very Vanilla card stock and used Versa mark ink. Than I sprinkled it with clear embossing powder. I than sponged on some Soft Suede ink so that the embossed image would stand out and make the doily look like ecru. Than I use my spritzer tool and my Soft Suede marker to add to the background. I put a pearl in the center of the doily for just an added touch. I used the scallop oval and wide oval punch for my sentiment. I wanted to add just a touch of color, so I used the flower punch from the Itty Bitty punch pack and also added a pearl to each center. The flowers are made from Bashful Blue card stock with some Soft Suede lightly sponged to the edges. Stamp set is Petite Pairs.
Hope you like my simple card and have a wonderful day! Mary
