Flight of the Butterfly Thank You Card

Hi to all of you! Hope you are staying warm, it sure is cold here!

Today I'm going to share a thank you card that I made to give to one of my clients. I received a belated Christmas gift from her and since it has been wild and crazy around here, it is late in being made and sent out to her, but I know she will understand as to why it is late.

I have always liked this stamp set but felt it was just a little bit to pricey for me to get, but when Stampin' Up had a Black Friday sale before Christmas and it was offered at 50% off, I just had to get the set! I just think it is so cute with the different ways you can stamp the butterflies and the cute "tails/sayings" that it has! I hope she likes it.

All products are Stampin' Up

Stamp set: Flight of the Butterfly
Ink: Pretty In Pink and Regal Rose
Card Stock: Regal Rose and Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Subtles Collection
Punch: Scallop Edge Border
Pearls
Ribbon: Pretty In Pink
Sponge for sponging the edges

Thanks for dropping in and I hope my simple card helped to brighten you day! Mary

Valentine's Day Card in Red and Black

Good morning too all of my blogging friends! This will probably be the last Valentine's day card I will post, I just don't need to many of them. I thought this time I would change it up and make one in red and black. On the left is my inspiration one, I received it last year from my friend, Chanda. You can see her card on her blog HERE. The stamp set she used is from Stampin Up, Valentine Define, but it is now retired. For my background I use a stamp from Tiny Tags. All products except ribbon, are Stampin Up.

Card stock: Real Red, Black, Whisper White and Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Black Staz-On
Embossing Folder: Framed Tulip
Embosslit Die: Scalloped Heart of Hearts
Ribbon: non SU

Oh no, I accidentally hit send so I guess I should say, Good Evening, lol! Anyway, I hope you all have a crafty day/evening! Mary

Valentine's Day Card in Pink, #2

As you can see I've been busy making Valentine cards, this year I'm ahead of the game, for a change, instead of waiting until the week before. This card is for another army girl who will also be shipped out soon to another post, so I wanted her to receive it before she moved. Again, I hope she likes pink too. The two army girls are roommates, so this time I wanted to make two different cards. The lady who requested cards for the girls had a chance to visit with one of them when she was home for the holidays and the girl told her how much they have enjoyed receiving the cards and when they would have a rough day, they would take the cards out and re-read the words of encouragement that were written on the inside of them. As they say, Kindness does matter. OK, as usual, everything is Stampin' Up.

Card stock- Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Very Vanilla
Stamps- En Francais, Bliss (retired SAB)
Ink- Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose
Embossing Powder- Clear
Punches- Scallop Trim Border, Full Heart
Ribbon- 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Pearls
Sponges

Well, this is my share for the day, hope your week is off to a great start! Happy crafting! Mary

Valentine's Day Card in Pink, #1

Good Morning to everyone, hope your day is starting off to be a great one!

Today I would like to share a Valentine card that I made to send as a RAK for an army girl. I had to send it to her now, as she will be shipped to another base because her basic training is almost over. Hope she likes pink!

All products (except for the candlewicking thread) are Stampin' Up. Here is what I used....

Punches- Postage Stamp, Jewelry Tag, Heart to Heart, 1 3/8" Square Punch
Embossing Folder-Framed Tulips
Ink-Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose
Ribbon-1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (from the Clearance Rack)

On the inside I used Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped Happy Valentine's Day

Well this is all for this card, thanks for stopping in to see it and as always, I enjoy reading any comments you may leave! Happy crafting! Mary

Punch Art Thank You Cows

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well and you all had a wonderful holiday season too. Mine was crazy, to say the least. Hubby had a total knee replacement on his right knee on December 20th, yup right before the Big One! He got out of the hospital on the 23rd and I've been busy since then, well actually about the whole month, tried to get alot done before his surgery, had my small family Christmas here on the 18th, which meant I had to clean the house really good because well it just seem like the perfect time to remodel our master bathroom too! Yep, life is not dull around here sometimes! But enough about this, your here because you want to see the card!

My dear friend, Linda, suprised me with a calendar from Chick-fil-A for my birthday last month, see I told you it was crazy here! Anyway, the calendar has black and white cows on it, I LOVE black and white cows and at our other house my kitchen was decorated with them, not overly, but some. Well she didn't know that but it was a sweet thing for her to do for me. So I needed to make a special thank you card for her. Now awhile back on Laura Lipe's blog she had a card just like this one but her cows were brown, so I CASE'D her card. Here is HER card. I used Stampin' Up punches, paper, ink to make this card, sorry I don't have the details, I forgot to write it all down, will do better next time, promise!

Well that's it for today, off to make a thinking of you card, thank you card and some Valentine cards! Hope you have a crafty day! Mary
