Father Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve day!

I stamped this image and colored it in about two weeks ago and just couldn't decide on how to use it, so this card really did take only five minutes to make.  I was just playing around with a retired embossing folder and decided to make this card.  On this Santa, I did a lot less coloring than the first one I shared last week with you.

Here is what I used:

Stamp set: Father Christmas
Card stock: Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler
Inks: Soft Suede and Craft Whisper White
Markers: Real Red and Basic Black
embossing folder- retired

I wish you the merriest of Christmas!  Mary

Night In Bethlehem

Hello to all of you, are you all ready for Christmas by now?  I think I'm all set for the big week-end.

My husband likes to send a special card to his friend that he use to work with, so I made this one for him to send.  I did use a bigger card base, as husband likes his cards BIG!  So I wanted to try this new Christmas set, as I've seen so many pretty cards made with it, so here is what I came up with.

Since the card base is much bigger than what I'm use to, I feel like it is not one of my best, so I'm hoping his friend will like it, I think his wife will for sure!

Here is what I used:

Stamp set: Night In Bethlemem
Card stock: Night of Navy and Whisper White
Ink: Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Soft Sky, Pool Party and Marina Mist
Large Letters Framelits

Thank you for stopping in, I appreciate it!  Mary

Stamp set: Half Full
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Whisper White
Inks: Old Olive Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight and Black Memento
Blender Pen
Stitched Circle Framelit

Gold Sequin-retired

As you can see, I got my pictures loaded to my computer but I don't remember what I did, but I hope I fixed the problem!!  Mary

This Little Piggy

Hi everyone, are you all done with making, addressing and mailing your Christmas cards out?  I thought I was totally done, but decided to make and send out three more cards and then my daughter asked if I could make her three for Wesley's daycare teaches and two gift card holders, I'd better shake a leg and get busy!!

The card I'm sharing with you today is one that I made for my other daughter to give to her friend.  Her friend has pigs on her farm and I just couldn't resist making her friend with a pig on the front!
I taped off the flower that the pig was holding, which is not hard to do.  I used my Blender Pen and Watercolor Pencils to color in the image.

Here is what I used:

Stamp sets: This Little Piggy, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Snow Play (for Santa's hat-retired
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Whisper White
Inks: Real Red and Black Memento
Holly Embossing Folder

Thank you for coming by.  I don't know if I'll be posting next week, as I'm having technical difficulties with my phone and computer, hoping I can figure out what is wrong, if not I'll call APPLE and have them help me out!  Mary
