Beautiful Butterflies
Hi everyone! Did you all have a great week-end? Mine was busy with mowing, weeding, laundry, you know the usual stuff we do. Well, maybe some don't but when I had a full time job that's what I usually did anyway.
Have you all gotten your favorite retired stamps sets order? I'm amazed had how fast everything is selling out this year!
I want to share with you today a card that I've had pinned for over a year and just decided I need to have some card making time the other day and pulled this one up from my Pinterest board. I'm using Designer Series Paper that was offered last year during Sale-A-bration and ribbon too, but it's got to get used up sometime, so that is what I used. A lot of the cards I've been showing you I'm going to donate to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center that is right behind our house. They can always use greeting cards.
The sentiment is from the Wetlands stamp set. I added a pearl to the center of each butterfly too. Card stock colors are: Very Vanilla and Pool Party.

Blog Updates
It's come to many bloggers attention that a lot of our subscribers are not receiving updates, it has to do with FeedBurner going away.
Unfortunately I was unprepared for this as there was no notice sent out. I'm trying to find a free service to use but if I can't find one you may have to come to my blog on your own, as I set this blog up as a way to share my creations with everyone and I just can't justify the cost for e-mail services right now. I'm sorry if this is a hassle for you but like everyone else I have to watch how I spend my money too. I hope you enjoy my blog enough that you will continue to come by to see my blog.

Punch Art Happy Birthday Dog
Happy Wednesday to all! I hope your day is going well and you've all recovered from your sugar overload from Easter too.
Yesterday was my oldest daughters birthday and I wanted to share with you the punch art card that I made for her. She works part-time for a local rescue group and loves dogs! Gee, I wonder why, lol. Anyway, I found a card similar to this one on Carol Payne's blog, but I did make a few minor changes to make it my own.
Isn't this dog cute?! I really like how it came out, I love punch art!! I hope she likes it too. This dog's name is "Miss Lady".
I used Oval Framelits, Tasteful Trim die and the retired Blossom Petal Punch, circle punch, oval punch and start from the Merry Minis. Card stock is Soft Sky, Soft Suede, Real Read, Soft Gray and Whisper White. Oh and Silver Glimmer paper too.

Happy Easter
Wow, three post this week, some weeks are harder than other to get cards made, edit and posted but I will try to do better!
This card is another CASE card, this time from Diana Gibbs. I knew I would need a fast and easy one to make so I saved this one to my Pinterest board for future use, what did we do before Pinterest?!
While her background was plain, I wanted to add some interest to mine, so I used the Decorative Dots embossing folder and really like how it makes the card look. I also use the Circle and Oval Framelits for the rabbit, along with a 1/2 inch circle punch and the small heart punch. Sadly, my whiskers leave much to be desired. Oh I also embossed the inside of the ears using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Added a little bit of sponging for cheeks. I did use some retired card stock and some retired ribbon but I think that is alright! I used Teeny Tiny Wishes along with the Word Window and Modern Label punches. A few pearls to finish it all off.

Giggle Greetings
Good mid-week to all of you, I hope you all are having a lovely day so far too.
This card came to me via my inbox from Lee Conley and I really like how she did hers, so I CASE'd it, but I changed the color that I used for mine. I like how well it came together too.
I used Whisper White, Real Red and Marina Mist card stock along with the Polka-Dot Parade DSP. I then used the same color of markers to color the cherries and the bowl with. I used the embossing folder, Decorative Dots (which will appear in the upcoming new catalog). I used my Circle Framelits to cut out the circle with. I put a piece of Scotch tape over the bottom of the sentiment, inked, removed the tape, stamped and then put another piece over the top part of the stamp, inked, remove the tape, stamp, so I could stamp the bottom part of the sentiment on the inside of my card,
As you can see, I added a strip of the DSP on the inside to. This card came together pretty quick too.

Life in the Forest
Hi everyone, it's nice to be back again, got so busy last week forgot to set up my blog posts.
Today I'm going to share the birthday card that I made for my daughter, Denise. Her birthday is tomorrow, but I know she has already received her card, so I can go ahead and post it.
When the new Occasion Catalog came out, this cute stamp set, Life in the Forest was in it. Well I didn't think I would need it but then thought it would make some cute cards for kids, so I got it. Well, it wasn't long after that the song came out, "What Does the Fox say" and cards using this set popped up all over the internet. Yep, I'm late to the party with this one, but I knew I wanted to make this card for my daughter's birthday because of some Facebook comments she had made sending links to her roommate. So this is the card that I made,
For the title, I printed it off on my computer. I used Pear Pizzazz for the grass, Soft Sky for the sky, Watercolor DSP for the trees, and my fringe scissors to make the grass. I stamps all of the images with Black StazOn, colored them in with markers and hand cut them out. Here is a picture of the inside of the card,
The birthday sentiment is from Remembering Your Birthday, and I used the Word Bubble Framelits to cut it out with. When I was finished, I was very happy with how it turned out! My daughter told me really like it too!
