Christmas Quilt

I had told myself that I was not going to buy any new Christmas items from this years' Holiday catalog.  Well that didn't last after I saw this stamp set used and also used for a baby card too!  It has so many great possibilities with this stamp set and Framelits.  It has a really nice embossing folder that goes along with it very well.

Here is what I used:

Stamp set: Christmas Quilt
Framelits: Quilt Builder
Card stock: Thick Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Gold Foil
Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and Crushed Curry

You may see some more Christmas cards in the near future!  Mary

Label Me Pretty

Last week I had a chance to use this stamp set, Label Me Pretty.  I thought I would get a jump on these for my daughter, she makes her friends Christmas gifts each year, so I know these will come in handy for her.

I used Real Red, Always Artichoke and Dapper Denim, Whisper White and the same inks, along with Baker's Twine which I think all of them are retired ones.  I also used some Glimmer Washi Tape the is retired too.

Now I need to get busy and make her some more.  Have a great day!  Mary

Hi to all of you!  Well I have one more Halloween share with you.  This cute idea was shown on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Facebook site by Maryann Hayslip, so many talented demonstrators share ideas there, luck for the rest of us!!

One shared this cute idea and I liked it so well, that I had to get this set on my order, knowing in the future this will make a cute treat for my grandson to share when he get in school.

Spooky Fun

This is the last Halloween card that I will share and I do believe I saved the best for last!

Last year Stampin' Up! came up with some Framelits called, Sliding Star, which you used two of the framelits for sliders.  I decided to keep them because I knew in the future I could use them.  I also kept the Halloween Scene Edgelits for cards for the future, so glad I did!

I found a card similar to this one on Pinterest, just changing it slightly, thanks Susan Best for sharing your creation.

I made two of these cards, one each for my two daughters.  I think they will like them!!

Here is what I used:

Stamp sets: Spooky Fun and Halloween Scene-both are retired
Card stock: Elegant Eggplant, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black
Glossy Card stock
Inks: Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Memento Black
Sponges

Now onto maybe some Fall cards or some more Christmas one, decisions decisions, lol!

Have a wonderful day!  Mary

Cookie-Cutter Halloween

Well I'm still on a Halloween card making roll.  Yes, I know that this stamp set is retired, but this year  I decided that I was not going to buy any new Halloween stamp sets until I use some that I've had for years and haven't used that much, gotta watch the old budget ;).

My daughter texted me the other day that Wesley was going to be a Scarecrow for Halloween this year, so I pulled this stamp set out to make his Halloween card with!  This scarecrow is almost as cute as he will be!

Here is what I used:

Stamp sets: Cookie-Cutter Halloween, Spooky Fun (both are retired), Woodgrain background and Painter's Palette (both are current)
Card stock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Black Staz-On
Ink: Crumb Cake
Varies Stampin' Write markers
Blender Pen
DSP-Motley Monsters and Pumpkin Pie Glimmer paper -- both retired

I think my daughter will be surprised when Wesley opens his card this year!  See you soon.  Mary
