Today was again a very sad day at our house. We had to make that painful decision to say good-bye to our cute little Parti-Color Cocker Spaniel, Bella. She has been sick since Thursday (totally out of nowhere) and losing ground everyday. Darn we so wanted to have more than just three short years with her but we do know that those three years were the best she ever had: love, care, food and doggy companionship and humans that totally loved her! Bella was only nine, we think, not knowing for sure when she was born. Our favorite memories are of watching her shoot out of the house like a bullet, keeping up with the labs, which by the way, she was not a cocker, she really thought she was a lab, just like the big kids! Her coming to me every morning wanting me to pick her up and "love" on her, and her laying in my arms, like a baby, and letting me rub her tummy! My husband is totally lost, Bella had him wrapped around her little paw and we teased him about how much he spoiled her. Hopefully we erased all the bad memories of being a puppy mill dog. So go love on your pets today and tell them how much you love them!

My deepest sympathies for you and your family. I know how you feel. Our furry babies are really a part of our families and we love them just as much as our human ones.
Mary, I am so sorry to hear this. As a lifelong pet lover, I know how difficult the decision was. RIP Bella.
Doggy hugs!!
Bella sure was so lucky to have such a good mommy and daddy. I know how much you loved her and she did, too. She will be missed, sweet thing!
