My daughter ask last week if I would make her something to place by Wesley's monthly pictures to show how much he will grow. Nothing fancy but just to show. So I thought for awhile and thought I would just go with the same theme we used for her baby shower, elephants and white and yellow chevrons.
I still had some paper left over and decided to make a banner that would not be too small or too big either and I really like how it came out too!
I used my Top Note die (retired) and traced the banner onto the back of the paper so I could hand cut it out, very easy. Then I dug into the craft closet and got out my old Sizziz alphabet dies called Playground! The elephant is from Zoo Babies and I stamped it in Smoky Slate. The card stock is Smoky Slate also and I use SU silver glimmer paper! I like how well it turned out too! All I need to do is add ribbon for a hanger, if the daughter wants one.
Well off to make some more cards! Mary
