Well, here is a card that I made for my friend, Linda, who recently lost one of her doggie companions. It is always so hard to hear when someone has lost a pet because you know how hard it can be. I wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her.
Here is what I used to make this card:

Such a sweet card. So sorry for your friend's loss. I know how that is. I'm sure this will bring her some comfort.
Awwww, Mary! This card is sooo cute! Just perfect for your friend. You sure can sympathize with her, can't you? It's nice to have a friend who understands.
