Christmas Deer

Oops, I found one more Christmas card to share.  This was made using the retired Christmas Deer stamp set, a good one for the men in your life!

I really like this set, it also has some ornaments that you can use to have hanging off of the deer's antlers, if you like.  I used Crumb Cake card stock and Season of Style DSP.  Lightly sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink and used Soft Suede ink for the deer.  Real Red was used for the bird.

Lovely As A Tree

Happy New Years to all of you!  I hope you are feeling chipper this morning and no ill affect from a night of celebrating!

Ok, you are probably wondering why I'm sharing this card again, when I just posted it HERE.  Well, my friend since high school shares the same birthdate as me, December 10th and I didn't want to send her a Christmas card as a birthday card, so I just changed the sentiment for this card and I think it turned out lovely!

I would have posted this a lot sooner, but they are digging in our neighborhood for Google Fiber and they cut our internet cable.  Well that's not so bad, but for some reason it really messed up my computer and I just recently, after trying many things, called for help and got everything all fixed.  Boy I'm so glad too!

Festive Flurry and Weekly Deals

Good New Years Eve day to all of my stamping friends!  I hope that you all will have a safe, happy celebration tonight.  We will be staying home and staying warm! Tomorrow I'll be making our annual Hoppin' Johns with cornbread and greens, yum!

I have seen this ornaments all over on the internet and Pinterest and just had to give it a go.  I made one with Perfect Plum, for my daughter who loves purple and one with Blushing Bride, for my other daughter who loves pink.  My fav is the Blushing Bride, the purple one just didn't turn out the way I thought it should, but is still nice and sparkly!  You could easily use these for gift tags too.

Scentsational Season

Hi to all!  Yep, I'm still sharing Christmas cards, only have one more after today, but I thought you would like to see some and maybe get a jump on your cards for next year!

This card combines old and new stamps.  The gingerbread men are from the retired Scentsational Season stamp set and framelits and the be merry is a single stamp called, Be Merry, that is still available for a short time.  I used the heart from the Owl Builder punch for the hearts on the card.  I found this card over on Pinterest and wanted to try making a couple too.

Christmas Messages

Today I would like to share with you a card I found that Amy Koenders made.  She used different paper but I liked how simple and easy her card was.

I used Winter Frost Specialty DSP, silver glimmer paper, Whisper White and Island Indigo for the card.  I used the star from the Merry Mini Punch Pack for the little stars.

Delightful Decorations

Well, good day to all.  I think things have finally settled down at our house, how about you?

Yes, I'm still sharing Christmas cards with all of you.  I got started late this year on making them and finally sent the last two out on the 23rd, me bad!  So I had to come up with some quick ones to make and this is one of those.

Yes, I used a retired stamp set and a retired punch, but I need quick and easy too.  I used the Northern Flurry embossing folder for the background and added some Rhinestones for some sparkle too.  Silver embossing powder was used on the ornament.  The ribbon is 1/8" Bermuda Bay, for just a touch of color.

Snow Day

Good Friday morning too all.

Today I will share one last snowman card.  I used the Northern Flurry embossing folder on the background and stamped the snowman in Smoky Slate ink.  Very simple and quick card.

This is a good card when running out of time and ideas for Christmas cards.

Lace Folded Christmas Tree

Good day my friends!  I hope you had a wonderful time yesterday and enjoying your presents too!  I'm off to work today, which is not a bad thing to do.

I want to share with you another Christmas card that I made, I ran out of days to post it before the holidays, I hope you don't mind.

I found this Christmas Tree on Tanya Bell's blog and I just had to give it a try.  Here is a video that shows how she made it.

For mine, I used Whisper White and Island Indigo card stock.  I used Winter Frost DSP for behind the tree.  Silver 1/8" ribbon and More Merry Wishes for the sentiment.  The Whisper White card stock was cut with the Chalk Talk frame lit.  Star was punched from silver glimmer paper using the Merry Minis Punch Pack.

Wonderful Wreath

Merry Christmas to all of my wonderful blog followers!!  I hope you have a beautiful day today with your family and friends.  My hubby and one daughter have to work and my other daughter couldn't make it home because she has to work tomorrow, so the dogs and I are celebrating it together, very peacefully.

Here is a card that I made for my husband to send to a couple of his guy friends.  I really like how the card turned out!  I found this card over on Erica Cerwin's blog.  I totally CASE'd her card.

I used the stamp called Wonderful Wreath.  First I inked it up with Old Olive ink, then used my Always Artichoke marker to add some shadows, stamped it on Whisper White card stock and hand cut the wreath out.  I popped it up with dimensionals.  I also used a Real Red and Crumb Cake marker for the cherries and the stems.  I cut a small piece of burlap ribbon and frayed the edges and attached it to the wreath.  I added some retired Baker's Twine to the burlap piece.   For the window, I used the Endless Wishes stamp set and Pool Party ink for the snowflakes and cut two strips of Natural Composition Specialty paper for the window dividers.  The sentiment is from More Merry Wishes, I think?

Endless Wishes

Hi too all of you.  I hope you are having a good day and staying warm.

I was able to buy this stamp set before it was sold out.  It has a lot of great words and three snowflake images, it's fun to come up with different greetings.

I used the Honeycomb embossing folder (another left-over piece), some silver glimmer paper.  Card stock is Whisper White and Pool Party.  Inks are Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate, another card that came together quick and easy!
