Hi to all of you! Well, it has cool down some in our neck of the woods, hopefully this awful heat wave is over!
Today I want to share a card that was inspired by THIS ONE. As you can see I didn't copy it totally because for one thing I didn't have any of that ribbon and I don't have any of those brads either, so I used what I had handy. The ribbon was a scrap that was lying on my table but was not long enough to make a bow with, so I put down some red sticky tape and made the ends pretty and bunched it up in the middle! Now I added a safety pin with a tiny tag punch stamped with "Thank You" on it. Since it is just pinned to the ribbon, I can always change the sentiment, if I need too. The embossed area is done with the new embossing folder from Stampin' Up!. I love how elegant it makes a card look and feel! The stamp set is a retired one from Stampin' Up! called Happy Moments; card stock is Whisper White and the image is colored in with SU markers. Ribbon and safety pin are non su. A very clean and simple card and quick too!
Hope it is starting to cool off in your parts and thanks for stopping by.................Mary

Hi MARY, It seems like forever since I blog hopped. I hope all is well with you. I owe you an apology as I see I got a stylish blog award from you and never responded. I am really not a snob just very busy. LOL! I love this card. Isn't that designer frame darling. I have a workshop tomorrow and made a wedding card for that using the frame. I will post it after my workshop. Have a good weekend and I love your card! God bless you Mary! BEv
Hi, Mary! What a cute card! I'll have to get that embossing folder! Thanks for sharing again and again!
Mary, this is soooo cute! I love the simplicity of it! Your coloring on the flowers is just adorable! Love it!
This is my first visit to your blog and I am loving it! This card is so sweet... I love the simplicity of it. That frame is awesome; I totally passed it in the catalog and now it's a must-have. Your idea for your too short ribbon is so clever, and it looks great. And I love that little stamped image. I actually have it but never even used it. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
I absolutely adore the pictures of all your precious dogs- and can only imagine what a wonderfully happy home yours must be with all those precious fur babies. And the best part- knowing they are all "rescues"! Fantastic!!
I am sure I'll be visiting your blog often. Blessings to you and your four legged kids!
