All Occasion Card
Good mid-week to all of you, I hope things are going well with all of my friends!
I want to share a card with you that I made after having a boo-boo with this new embossing folder. I wrinkled my card front so, I knew I could not send out a card like that, so being a thrifty one, I decided to cut the embossed area out and see what I could do. It's not the greatest but in real life it looks much nicer, oh I wish I could take better pictures but I have an old camera (at least 10 yrs old), maybe one day I can up grade to a new one! Once again I used somethings that I had laying on the table and tried to make it all work. I added the small strip on the left to hide the fact that I didn't stamp my background all the way to the edge, not a good day for making cards, but I made it work. :)
All products are from Stampin' Up!
Card stock: Marina Mist, Whisper White and Crumb Cake
Stamp set: Field Flowers and En Francais
Ink: Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Early Espresso and Whisper White Craft Ink
Ribbon: Marina Mist
Embossing Folder: Holiday Frame

Well this will do it for today, hope to be back soon with another card, Mary

Stippled Blossoms Sympathy Card
Hello everyone. Sorry that have not posted for a week. I've had a rough week last week, a friend I've known for about 26 years passed away unexpectedly last Wednesday. I'm in totally shock and dismay about her passing. Her two daughters and my two daughters were in pre-school classes since they were three years old, that is how we meet, we also belong to the same church and our daughters went to the same all-girl Catholic high school too. This is the sixth passing, in less than a month, of someone we have known, but this one has been the hardest for me. My friend was so sweet, calm and always had a smile on her face. She raised ten children with her husband, which makes her more special because through all of those kids, I never hear her once lose her patience or raise her voice with any of them!
I found this card over on Pinterest and it was made by Diana Gibbs. You can see her card HERE. I used the colors that I had on hand to make it with. I hope my card brings some peace to the family. I love the inside sentiment that comes with the Love and Sympathy stamp set and I've used it alot lately.

Miss Tilly
Hi everyone, hope you had a great Saturday! It was wonderful here in the Midwest.
No card today but I did want to share a picture of our house guest who came to visit us last night. Her name is Tilly and she is the house dog for Sunrise Of Leawood, a senior living facility where my daughter works. Tilly is so sweet, so my husband and I call her Sweet Pea! Tilly was having a ruff afternoon yesterday, so my daughters' boss asked her to see if Tilly could go and spend the week-end with "Grandma". Sure Sweet Pea can come anytime, all of the dogs get along really well. Tilly has some arthritic issues and also a heart problem, so they like for her to get into a home environment every so often. I can't believe the animal shelter they rescued her from found her roaming the streets, who could do that to such a sweet, wonderful dog?!
Well enough for now, hope to see you again soon! Mary

I hope we don't receive any more news like this for awhile. I hope my card lets them know how much we are thinking of them and saying prayers for them too.

Love and Sympathy
Hi everyone! Did you have a nice holiday week-end? We stayed home and did some work around the house, trying to get rid of some unused items.
This is a card that I made to send to a friend who just recently lost his wife to cancer. Nasty cancer, I wish they could find away to get rid of it. I wanted to keep the card real simple and I like how it turned out. I wanted it to look antique.
All products are from Stampin' Up!
Stamp sets: Love and Sympathy, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Stamping Wheel: Very Vintage
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Ink: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Early Espresso (used Markers)
Labels Collection Framelits
Seam Binding: Baja Breeze
Embossing Folder: Argyle
Color Spritzer Tool
sponge
Thank you dropping in to see me, have a great day too! Mary

Pleasant Poppies
Happy rainy Saturday too all of you! We have received much needed rain here in Kansas City, 6.6 inches so far, what a blessing too!
The other day I was in the mood to do some coloring and had not made a card with this stamp yet, so what better one to use then this one. It did take awhile to color but I have always like to color, even as a small child!
All products are from Stampin' Up!
Stamp set: Pleasant Poppies, Lovely Labels and Tiny Tags
Card stock: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso
Ink: Black StazOn
Markers: Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and gee I don't remember the last one
Ribbon: SAB 1/4" ribbon (retired)
Punch: Little Labels Punch Pack
This card is so much prettier in person and I really like how it turned out.
Thank you for dropping my to see me today, I appreciate it! Mary
