Oh my goodness, can you believe it, we had snow yesterday!!! What crazy weather we have here in Missouri! They even had to postpone the Royals game because of the snow! I sure hope none of our trees get hurt by this late snow storm. We are all so ready for normal weather.
Here is a card that I made to send to my daughter, she's had a really bad cold this past week and I wanted to send her get well thoughts. I talked to her yesterday and she is sounding alittle bit better, so hopefully she will shake if off over the week-end.
I used two soon to be retired stamp sets, Morning Cup and Word Play. I found a similar card like this one in my e-mail in box one morning, her card was a little bit different than what I did here. I also used retired Marina Mist ribbon, I sure do like this ribbon, wish it would come back. I used markers and a blender pen to color in my stamped image. The embossed card stock was yet again another "left-over" in my stash.
Embossing folders: Framed Tulip and Designer Frames Folder
Card stock: Whisper White and Pretty In Pink
Extra Large Oval punch
Marker: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Pretty In Pink and Soft Suede
Blender pen

Well I hope you have a great week-end, one of our neighbors is having his 10th annual Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday and we always have fun, hope you do too! Mary

Hi Mary
This is a lovely card.
I was wondering how you got the oval inside of the tulip frame.

That's adorable! I hope your daughter is feeling better!
