Good Monday morning to all of you! I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your families and friends and snagged all of those good shopping deals too. I stayed home and will do my shopping in the next couple of weeks.
Today I want to share with you a cute idea that I saw over on the demonstrators website, Stampin Connection. This little tree was shared by Brenda Quintana (Qbee on SCS)! You can find a video and written directions on how to make these cute little trees HERE. The first one you make will take a little bit, until you get the hang on how to fold the inside strips, but after that first one, the rest are a breeze! She even tells you how to do your cutting and scoring so that you can whip these out in no time flat! These would be great as "thinking of you" gifts or for co-workers. I think they would cost around 50 cents or less to make. She suggest putting them in a clear envelope and that helps to hold the candy in place. I forgot to add my little tag before I took this picture, but you can see what her's looks like.
All products are Stampin' Up! except for the candy
Card stock: I used Pear Pizzazz (retired)
Ribbon: Certainly Celery, 1/8th inch
Tombow glue
Sticky strip
Clear envelope
Word Window punch
Teeny Tiny Wishes
Baker's Twine
Well, we are now less than a month away from Christmas, still working on cards, but this was a fun break, try them and you will see how easy they are too! Have a crafty day, Mary
