Punch Art Bunny Treat Holder
Well here we are on the home stretch to Easter. Spring is here in the Midwest, but the cold lingers on for today anyway, the rest of the week it's suppose to be in the 70's!
While on the website for Stampin' Up! demonstrators, I came across this adorable little bunny treat holder. Linda Parker, who created it, was kind enough to make a video to share with everyone! You can view the video HERE. It is about 25 minutes long, but worth the time to watch it.
I made mine to give to one of my clients and my one daughter saw it and wants three for her co-workers too. So I'll be busy for the rest of the day making some.
Once you get your "basket" made and all the pieces punched out, it doesn't take very long to assemble.
I used Whisper White, Pink Pirouette and Pistachio Pudding. Then your 2-1/2" circle punch, circle from the Itty Bitty Punch pack (retired), medium circle from the Owl Builder punch, Large, Extra Large Oval, scallop oval punches. For the whiskers I used some baker's twine from the January Paper Pumpkin kit, but you could use any twine you have. The ribbon is 1/8" Pink Pirouette (retired). I made sure the last time I was at the grocery store to get Easter Hershery's Kisses.
Hope you give this cute little box a try, Mary

Easter Bunny Punch Art
Today I want to share these cute punch art bunnies that I made for my girl's Easter cards this year. I found these ADORABLE bunnies over on Gill Prescott's blog, you can find the clear directions on how to make them HERE.
The only hard part with these bunnies is making the eyes, but once I figured out how Gill did it, it was pretty easy to do then. Luckily, I keep all of the punches that retire and the Paper Doily Sizzlits, which is what she used to make the bunny's cute eyes with.
Are they not cute?! The Designer Series paper is some from about two years ago, I believe. The green bushes by the pots are from the Cupcake Builder punch. I think I used all of my Oval punches and the 3/4 inch circle punch. The little flowers are from, gee I guess it is retired too, sorry about that. If you would like a closer look, just click on the picture and it will enlarge.
I hope my two daughter's like their cards, the Easter bunny hasn't gone to their houses just yet.
Now onto birthday cards for them. Thanks for stopping by, Mary

Voila
This past Saturday, I had a Pampered Chef show scheduled for a really sweet lady named Laura. We had a lot of fun at her party and I wanted to send her a handmade card to tell her thank you for letting me come into her home!
This is the card that I will be sending her. It was made with the Voila stamp set from awhile back, perfect for this kind of thank you note too!
What a cute chef this guy is too! We had a Wine, Cheese and Chocolate party, so I thought this was perfect for the front!
I did use my Blendabilities to color with. I added some sequins to the card front because I had a couple of boo-boo's that I needed to hide. I stamped the image in Black Memento ink.
I hope you are having a great Wednesday too, thanks for stopping, Mary

Blissful Bride
Hello and good Monday morning to all. My daughter called me the other week and requested a Bridal Shower card for her friend who is getting married in May. So I went on the hunt for this stamp set, Blissful Bride, but forgot I had sold it to one of my stamping friends. So she is letting me borrow it to make a few cards with. Stamping friends are sweet like that!!
I used the retired stamp set Blissful Bride, as is the White Satin ribbon (love this stuff) and the Specialty Paper Bride, from awhile back. I mean a long while back but I still really like it, makes a beautiful card! I used Whisper White and Island Indigo card stock, these are the colors of her wedding. I used Black StazOn ink and used my blender pen to color the flowers and the bow in a light shade of Island Indigo. You may not see it in the picture, but I applied a very light color of Soft Sky around the dress outline too. Then I used my Two-way glue pen and then some Dazzling Diamonds to make the bow sparkle some. Very pretty in person! I hope Tara likes her card too.
Thank you for dropping in, Mary

St. Patrick's Day Cards
Well here are the two St. Patrick's day cards that I made. After making them I thought, "well darn, they don't very much like them. Oh well, my daughters won't care about that!
I found these on my Pinterest board, I believe they are by Diane D. but I don't have a link to share, sorry. I made the rainbow with my circle framelits and Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, green I'm not sure of, Tempting Turquoise and Elegant Eggplant. I cut the circles in half to get two rainbows. I free-hand cut the clouds and made the black pot from a circle punch, word window punch and feet from the Owl Builder punch. Heart punch if retired as is the Cloud embossing folder. The small heart are from the Hearts Border. The sky is Soft Sky card stock and I used Whisper White for the card base. I used the Gold Glimmer paper for the hearts.

Curvy Keepsake Bunny
Happy Friday to all of you! It has been so beautiful, weather-wise, here in the Midwest. Hope it continues for awhile longer too.
Here is a cute little bunny that you can make with the Curvy Keepsake die. I'm sure you have seen quite a few neat ideas on how to use this die too. Some people are just so creative, lucky for me!!
I had a left-over strip of fringed card stock in green from another project, so I just set it up next to the little bunny to make it look like he was sitting in the grass.
The face was made using the Owl Builder punch, the two bigger circles and for the heart nose, one of the punch outs from the new Confetti Heart Border punch. I used Whisper White, Pink Pirouette and Basic Black. For the ears I used the retired Blossom Builder punch, but you could free-hand the ears too. I think he turned out so cute. Oh I did sponge the outside edges of the little box too.
Well off to make a couple of St. Patrick's day cards, see you next week. Mary

Sheltering Tree
Can you tell I have Spring Fever?! It has been so pretty, weather wise here where I live, can't wait for it to stay around for awhile!
I found a card like this one over on Lorri H. blog. So simple and easy, I had to try it. I'm low on sympathy cards, so I thought I better make a few to have on hand. When I made cards, I tend to make two at once from one sheet of card stock.
Stamp set: Sheltering Tree and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso
Card stock: Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding and Pink Pirouette
A very easy, quick and simple card, enjoy! Mary
