Perfect Blend

Good Friday morning to all of you, I hope you are having a great day today.  Mine will be busy with doing chores around the house and getting started on the baby shower invites.
My daughter wanted a coffee gift card holder, so I made this one for her to use.  It is using the stamp set called Perfect Blend.  It's been a very popular stamp set with many stampers since it came out in June of this year.  I think the coffee cup is really cute and you can make it so many different ways too.

For the holder part of it, I used the card base Pop 'n Cut, you can get two holders out of one sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 inch card stock.  Here I used Crumb Cake and using Crumb Cake ink and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, I used the splotch to make it look like coffee had spilled on it.  For the cup, I stamped once on Very Vanilla, for lid, once on Crumb Cake for the sleeve and once on a scrap piece of Season of Style Designer Series Paper.  Hand cut out all of the pieces, I did put the DSP and the lid onto another full stamped coffee cup, because I wanted it to be more sturdy  I used some Linen Thread to tie around the sleeve to add some interest.  Used some Cherry Cobbler and more Crumb Cake to make a flag and stamped the sentiment on it.

For the inside, I used more of the Season of Style DSP and Cherry Cobbler.  Stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla and distressed the edges after punching it out with the Artisan Label punch.  I used the Word Window punch to punch out where the gift card would slide into.  I found the measurements for this card HERE.

This is all for today, I hope you have a fun week-end too!  Mary

Hey Mary!

Love how you coordinated the inside of the card with the outside coffee cup. And I love these gift card holders. Great job on this! Hope all is well! Best, Curt
