As promised, here is another card using the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit. This one shows how Stampin' Up! gives you an idea on how to use this great little kit. Of course, you can change the cards up anyway you choose to make it your style.
This card goes together really fast and you can easily change the stamp that you use on the front too.
Thanks for stopping by! Mary

Lovely As A Tree Christmas
Wow, I'm finally getting busy and making some Christmas cards! Last year I found so many wonderful cards, that I decided to make all of my Christmas cards different, only making two of each one. It was so much fun to try all of the different stamps and styles that I decided to do it again this year, that way I don't get tired of making the same one, 30 times!
While cruising Pinterest the other day, I came across this card and just knew it would be one of the cards that I had to try, so simple, clean, soft and classy!
I used the new ink called Soft Sky and lightly sponged over the stamped image that I used white embossing powder on. Then I went back and using a glue pen added some Dazzling Diamonds for some sparkle to look like snow. It is hard to see in this picture, had a hard time getting a good picture, but I think if you click on the picture, you will be able to see it. I also stamped the sentiment (retired) in Soft Sky ink too. Very quick and easy to make!
I hope you have been enjoying some of the good buys that Stampin' Up! has been offering this year too! Have a great day, Mary

Snow Day
Well, we are off to the start of the Thanksgiving Week, are you all ready for the feasting to begin?
Well, I've decided it's time to get busy making some Christmas cards, don't want to stress about these. Today I'm using a kit that Stampin' Up! sells called, Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit and the stamp set Snow Day. Now the stamp that you can buy to use with this kit is called Merry Little Christmas, but a lot of demonstrators have been putting their own creative spin on this kit and some of the cards are just too cute. The card I'm showing you today is one that Carol Payne had on her blog, and she said that I could CASE it, but as you know we all put our own touch on them.
Isn't he cute! I had so much fun making this card. I used it as a thank you card to send to one of my customers for her recent order but sent it so that she could still use it, if she wanted too! In the coming days, you will be seeing more cards made with this kit.
Have a great day too! Mary

Thanksgiving
Wow, three post this week, I'm doing much better this week than last, it sure is fun to play in the craft room and be able to share my creations with you. I hope that you enjoy them and are inspired to try some too!
Today I'm going to share a simple Thanksgiving card with you. Another demonstrator shared it on her blog and I thought it was so cute. So I had to make one so that I could share it with all of you too.
Isn't it cute?!! It's made to look like a pilgrim suit, how creative! The right side of the picture show how I finished the inside of the card. I'm sending this one to my cousin, who makes cards too. I hope she likes it.
Well off to play some more, have a great week-end! Mary

A New Little Someone
Hi again, so happy you decided to drop in to view my latest creation, I hope you all are having a wonderful day too.
Here is a baby card that I made for my daughter to give to her sister-in-law, they had her shower last week-end, so she ask if I would make her a card too.
I decided to use my little bunny again to make her card, it matches one of the shower invitations that they mailed out. I used the Top Note die and the 1-1/4" square punch and made a quilt to go behind the bunny image, which is popped up on dimensionals. I ran the "quilt" piece thru a embossing folder to make it look quilted. The quilt is made with retired Designer Series paper. Can you tell she is having a boy?!
Well, this does it for today, hope too see you all soon! Mary

Hershey's Candy Bar Santa Gift
Hi everyone!! I hope you are all well, I've been playing in the craft room for the last four to five days and have been having fun too.
Today I'm going to share with you a holder that I made for a giant size Hershey's candy bar holder. The candy bar is the 7 ounce size and this is what I'm going to give to the neighbors for Christmas this year. Going to cut back on all of the baking that I use to do so that I don't gain anymore weight this year, HA!!
I think this turned out so cute and looks much better when you see it then in the picture. For this one I decorated it to look like Santa's suit! The belt is really a belly band, it slides off, so that they can get to the candy bar on the back side of the package. If you click on the picture, you will be able to read the poem that goes with it. I made the candy bar holder with my Envelope Punch Board, this little tool is so versatile to use!
Well, off to play some more, thanks for stopping by to see me, I appreciate it! Mary

Seven Nugget Box
Good day to all, I hope you all have been doing well, we are all fine and dandy at our house. Also THANK YOU to all of our veterans for your past service to our country and to those currently serving too. I salute you all.
Today I want to share with you a nugget box that a fellow demonstrator, Connie Stewart, recently shared on her blog. You can find a video HERE. The neat thing about these boxes, you can get two out of a 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock!
I used Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay card stock, Silver Glimmer paper and Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. Now I did do the top of my box just a little bit different. I just didn't like the big strip of DSP on the top of the box, so I carefully peeled it off, trimmed it and shorten the length, then I flagged the ends. I did use the retired Northern Frost die to make my snowflakes to adhere on top of my belly band.
Well this is my share today, I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by to see me too! Mary

Reindeer Candy Holder
Good day to all of you, hope you all are staying warm.
Today I'm sharing a cute little treat that I found on the Internet. It holds a regular size Hershey's chocolate candy bar. Since we didn't have as many ghouls and goblins this year, we have some left over.
For this treat, I used a 6" x 5-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Just wrap it around your bar and using sticky strip to hold it shut in the back. I used a Sizzix snowflake die to make the antlers with using Soft Suede card stock, sponging the edges with Soft Suede ink. The hair, or whatever it is called, was made using the 1-3/4" scallop punch, cut in half, sponging the edges. For the eyes I used a 3/4" circle punch and 1/2" circle punch. For the nose I used 1" circle punch using the red glimmer paper. Added some highlights with a white gel pen. Now you could add a hand drawn mouth, you could add some sponge dauber cheeks, etc. Really just decorate the way you would like too. These would make cute, inexpensive gift to give for the upcoming holiday.
I hope you give these a try and make a whole herd! Mary

Banner Santa Pouch
Hey everyone, hope your day has gone well, mine has been spent in the craft room playing. It's a overcast, gloomy day today, great for staying inside.
Today I want to share with you a cute little Santa idea that I found at the demonstrators website. A fellow demonstrator, Michelle Alexander, shared these cute little Santa pouches she made for her hostesses. She didn't provide any details, so I had to wing it and come up with my own.
Ok, here is a picture with the rest of his hat, ah better. I used a scallop punch, but Michelle used a white button, which I don't have. I did add some Dazzling Diamonds to the pom-pom.
Now, this is kind of a flat Santa, so you can't stuff too much into it, think a few candy canes, a candy bar, etc.
I WILL SEND A PDF TO YOU ON HOW TO MAKE THIS, IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS.
This is what I've been up to today, hope you like it! Mary

I used a banner from the banner kit that is currently in the Holiday catalog and traced it onto some Cherry Cobbler card stock, cutting two out. I did the same for his beard and then trimmed it to the size I wanted and used the scalloped edge border punch. For the mustache, I used the smallest oval frame lit and then ran all of the beard pieces through the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder. Used circle punches for the eyes, nose and mouth. I used the Stylish Stripe embossing folder for his hat. Blushing Bride was used for his face and nose. Oh darn, I forgot to add his hat flap, be right back with the updated version….

One More Box with the Envelope Punch Board
Well, here we are again with another little box. This one will hold one Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, yum! This one I decorated for Christmas, but would be cute to put on your Thanksgiving table for favors too.
I used the Designers Series paper called Winter Frost Specialty paper, so pretty, love the different shades of blue in this with the light gray! I used the retired Northern Frost sizzlits with Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Silver Glimmer paper, attaching it to a belly band to keep the box closed but easy to slip off too. You can go HERE to see the video and get the measurements.
Well now that I've probably got you all bored with all of my boxes, I'll move on to some cards next week. Have a great day and a great week-end. Mary
